My interest in better mortgage transactions stems from back-to-back home purchases in the late 90's… both very unpleasant. Both times, communication with my lender was (to put it kindly) less than stellar. Unexplained delays and cost changes created some real drama and anxiety for my wife and for me.
In 2002, I met a business mentor who became a great friend. He invited me to make a career change and encouraged me to engage in a proactive, informative, accessible approach to mortgage lending. Within months, my professional mission became to improve the world... one successful transaction at a time. Years later, I work every day to make a positive difference in people's' lives, whether we ultimately do business together or not.
