Scott Mertens has been Geneva Financials’ Licensing and HR Director since coming onboard in 2014. In this position, Scott plays a vital role in helping new hires start their journey with Geneva and is their first point of contact in assisting license transfers.
After 10 years with Geneva, Scott has seen the ups and downs of the mortgage industry, one that has introduced him to all walks of life from every corner of the country.
As an avid history buff, Scott enjoys taking in the rich art and history that Downtown Phoenix and its surrounding neighborhoods have to offer. This love of history has led Scott to travel all over the world, including over 10 countries spanning 4 different continents.
Originally from South Dakota, Scott now resides in Phoenix, Arizona. In his free time, you will often see Scott with friends by the pool taking in the warm sun or at a sporting event, passionately rooting for the Suns, Cardinals, and Diamondbacks.
