Amber Jaurequi (pronounced hot-a-key) is a Branch Manager. Although Geneva is a large firm, she treats clients as individuals who deserve transparency and respect, with someone in their corner who can identify what they need. She never tires of doing better for clients and potential clients. For Amber it isn’t just about the business, it is having a happy and robust community.
Homeownership is considered one of the most desired goals and one of the biggest investments most people make in their lives. Along with that, the loan process can be one of the most intimidating, but when working with the right person, can be the most rewarding. Amber is one of those “right” people. She has the loan industry in her DNA and began working for a mortgage company as an intern at age 16. She knew this was the career for her and got her real estate license as soon as she legally could at age 18. She has now been in the business for over 25 years and still continues to set her goals to a higher mark.
The word “impossible” is not in her vocabulary. If a difficult situation comes her way, it does not deter her. Instead, it gives her more impetus to accept the challenge. Amber helps clients through the entire homeownership journey and beyond, and will work with them to make them ready to purchase a home. “The answer is never no, you don’t qualify to purchase…it’s just a matter of when!” Amber truly is your trusted lender for life.
Amber is VA certified and has been doing VA loans for over 25 years. She also works with Homes for Heroes, which is a program designed strictly for first responders. She says, “A helping hand for our Veterans and our First Responders is the least we can do.” She values that Geneva Financial shares her passion for Veterans and First Responders and that they continuously introduce new ways to help.
But if you ask her, her biggest accomplishment is her family. Her family is her “Why”. Amber married her high school sweetheart, Cheyenne. They have three children (ages 22, 19 and 16), who are and have always been the center of their lives. They all love living in rural El Dorado County and are here to stay.
