Geneva Gives was born out of a desire to make an impact on a very personal level in the communities we serve. Our goal is simple and clear – consistently recognize those who impact their communities every single day.
Whether we are supporting an organization that contributes their time and resources or celebrating an individual whose profession enriches the community around them; Geneva Financial feels it is important to give back, whenever possible.
We are humans celebrating humans.
The month of May felt unique to us as it contains several National Days/Weeks recognizing everyday American heroes including Police Officers, Teachers, Nurses, and First Responders. Memorial Day and Red Nose Day (benefiting children facing adversities) are also celebrated in the month of May. The giving humans at Geneva came together and decided that every year, the month of May should be dedicated to these remarkable human beings.
We are accepting nominations for local heroes in several categories throughout the month. A hero in each category will be chosen as well as an overall ‘Geneva Gives-Hero of the Year’ to include a grant that can be applied to a cause they are championing or a charity of their choice.
